যমুনা ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশনের উদ্যোগে ও অর্থায়নে আইডিইবি ঢাকায় “ আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস এর গুরুত্ব ও তাৎপর্য ” শীর্ষক সেমিনারের আয়োজন করা হয়। যমুনা ব্যাংক ফাউন্ডেশনের চেয়ারম্যান আলহাজ্ব নূর মোহাম্মদ এর সভাপতিত্বে সেমিনারের প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যমুনা ব্যাংক এর সাবেক চেয়ারম্যান, স্থানীয় সরকার, পল্লী উন্নয়ন ও সমবায় মন্ত্রনালয় এর মন্ত্রী মোঃ তাজুল ইসলাম এমপি। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যমুনা ব্যাংক এর চেয়ারম্যান এ,কে,এম ইঞ্জিনিয়ার মোশাররফ হোসেনসহ পরিচালনা পর্ষদের অন্যান্য পরিচালকবৃন্দ। সন্মানীত অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন যমুনা ব্যাংকএর ব্যবস্থাপনা পরিচালক ও সিইও শফিকুল আলম।
With the initiative and finance by Jamuna Bank Foundation, a seminar held on “Momentous and importance of International Mother Language Day” at IDEB, Kakrial, Dhaka. Md. Tazil Islam,MP, Minister, LGRD and co-operatives, Of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh was present as the chief guest wherein Al-Haj Nur Mohammed, chaiman, Jamuna Bank Foundation presided over the seminar. Eng. A.K.M Mosharraf Hussain, chairman Jamuna Bank was present as special guest on the seminar. Beside Directors of the Jamuna Bank Kanutosh Majumder, Eng.Atiqur Rahman, Rafiqul Islam, Narayan Chandra Saha were also present as a special guests. Shafiqul Alam, Managing Director & CEO of the Jamuna Bank was present as guest of honour.
