The Premier Bank limited introduced Automated Challan System through digital platform on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, an initiative of the Ministry of Finance and Bangladesh Bank.
The Automated Challan System program was inaugurated by Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mr. Ahmed Jamal, as Chief Guest. Honorable Advisor of Premier Bank Mr. Muhammed Ali attended the program as a special guest. The virtual session was presided over by Managing Director & CEO of Premier Bank Mr. M. Reazul Karim, FCMA. Mr. A.K.M Mokhlesur Rahman, Consultant, Automated Challan System Project and Kazi Ahsan Khalil, Deputy Managing Director & CBO, The Premier Bank Limited and other high officials were also present during the inauguration.
Being the focal point of the Automated Challan System Mr. Mohd. Jamil Hossain CMA, SEVP & Head of Corporate Banking Division, The Premier Bank Limited thanked all the esteemed guests for their participation. The distinguished guests expressed their gratitude to all the concern of the project for the successful implementation and expect the service will be more convenient for the customer across the country.
This automated service will allow the customer to pay their Treasury Challan Bills from any branch of The Premier Bank Limited which will ensure smooth payment of Govt. Treasury Bills without any hassle. The service will allow to deposit value added tax (Vat), tax, government fees and other payments in a fast and safe way. The system will also reduce the possibility of fraud.
